Hello! How are things going in your world? It’s finally starting to cool down here in Denver (so happy) and all I want to do is curl up in a blanket and watch weekend-worthy dramas.
Instead, I have been fighting this state of vegetation and working on wrapping up my logo design and I’m happy to announce that it’s finally done people! Here is a glimpse into my process work and stages leading up to the final state.
Stage One: Brainstorming
Stage Two: Initial Design and Revisions
Stage Three: Final Revisions and Mockups
Thank you for all your feedback! I will be featuring more work soon so stay tuned
A few posts ago I posted a mood-board of my future vision for my new personal logo. Since then, I have been working (slowly) on developing a new identity system. I have a pretty good idea of what I want, but it’s not as easy translating those mental images into reality.
Here are a few preliminary options for the new logo, but I need your help on deciding on a direction. Each logo is labeled One, Two, Three or Four. I will be forever grateful if you can help me choose a direction by voting on your favorite.
Once the polls are in, I will focus on narrowing down and perfecting just one. I’m excited to see the end result!
Generally I dread working on personal logos. The old adage ‘A plumber’s pipes are always leaky’ can hold very true for designers (for me at least) as well. For some reason it’s incredibly difficult to design work for oneself. Ah the irony.
I’ve decided to tackle mine since its been a few years since its been updated and I have never had a personal logo that I felt perfectly represented myself and my work. I’ve put together a mood-board visually depicting the color palettes, textures and general vibe of my future logo.
I’m a huge fan of minimalistic design interrupted by bold statements of texture or color as you can see throughout the board. I’m hoping I will love this future mark as much as I’m loving this mood-board right now!
Stay tuned; I will be posting more as my logo progresses!
